From Lost to Found
Before Christ: A Life Without Direction
I lived a life where I thought I was free—free to make my own choices, free to chase desires, and free to live on my own terms. But in reality, I was a prisoner of my own sins. My life was filled with broken relationships, mistakes that left deep wounds, and choices that pulled me further away from truth. As an irresponsible mother, I hurt the very people I should have been protecting. My heart was hardened, my soul was restless, and though I tried to fill the emptiness with worldly things, nothing ever satisfied.
Then, the storms came. Challenges that shook me, failures that humbled me, and a tragic accident that nearly took my life. Looking back, I realize these were not just random hardships—they were God’s way of calling me back to Him.
The Turning Point: God’s Intervention
I should have been destroyed. My past should have swallowed me whole. But even in my rebellion, God’s mercy was at work. He allowed me to reach rock bottom, not to punish me, but to save me. It was in my brokenness that I finally heard His voice. He was always there, waiting, reaching out, but I was too blind to see.
Through the pain and loss, He softened my heart. He showed me the depth of His love—a love that did not condemn, but redeemed. He reminded me that my worth was not in my past, but in His grace. It was then that I surrendered, acknowledging that I could not do life on my own. Jesus became my Savior, and my direction changed forever.
A New Life in Christ: Walking with Purpose
Today, I am no longer the person I used to be. I am not perfect, but I am transformed. The guilt, the shame, and the chains of my past have been broken by the blood of Christ. I am a Person With Direction—and that direction is Jesus Christ. My life is now a testimony of His goodness, a reflection of His grace, and a vessel for His purpose.
If He could change me, He can change anyone. This is why I share my story—not to dwell on my past, but to proclaim the power of the One who redeemed me.
